Export or delete your data
You own your data. PrepIEP gives you product controls for generated downloads and account deletion, plus a support path for complete privacy exports.
Request a complete export
Email contact@prepiep.com from the address on your account with the subject "Data export." We will send a portable copy of the personal information and education-record content we hold within 45 days. Meeting Packs and other generated files remain downloadable through their normal product flows where supported.
Delete a single document
From the Documents tab, use the available delete control for the document or workspace. The document is removed from the primary store and propagates to encrypted backups on the normal backup-rotation cycle. If you do not see the control you need, email contact@prepiep.com and we will process the request manually.
Delete your entire account
Open Account → Delete Account. Confirm with your email address and reauthenticate with your sign-in provider. Your account, documents, Advisor history, goals, Meeting Packs, and active subscription are deleted or canceled from the primary systems immediately. Deletion is permanent and propagates through encrypted backups on the normal backup-rotation cycle. We cannot restore a deleted account.
Stripe billing records
If you had a paid plan, your Stripe customer record is retained for 7 years to comply with U.S. tax and financial recordkeeping requirements. This contains your billing email, charge history, and country — not your IEP content. Per Privacy Policy §7.
The 90-day AI defensive record
Independent of account deletion, the rolling 90-day defensive record of your AI exchanges expires automatically. If you want to expedite that within the 90 days, email contact@prepiep.com and we'll process it within 45 days at no charge.
California, CCPA, and other privacy rights
California residents have additional rights (access, deletion, correction, portability, opt-out, and limitation of use of sensitive PI). Use the in-app controls where available or email contact@prepiep.com. Per Privacy Policy §9.
